My name is Jon Wright, i live in the UK and welcome to my Allotment Blog.

I’ve set up this new site to document my experiences of my new found hobby…growing vegetables and flowers on an allotment.

I’ve always fancied the idea of growing my own vegetables and as soon as a plot became available i jumped straight in. I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, in fact i’m a complete novice.

I’m currently ambling my way through the mountains of information and advice and will post my findings and experiences here.
