The winds had died down so i dragged the wife kicking and screaming up to the allotment to help me assemble the shed.
It was a cold morning due to an early start as we were thinking it would be an all day job, but it only took us 3 hours. I quite enjoy working on the allotment with the missus although i don’t think she shares the same sentiment.
As is usual with these DIY kits, you never get enough nails and screws and even those are of substandard quality. Overall though i was really pleased with how solid it all felt when screwed together.
The big difference of course was taking the time making sure the paving was level and solid which makes everything fit nicely together. Now i just need to give it a good application of Cuprinol and the jobs done.
Now at least we have somewhere to shelter from the rain, make a cuppa (makes a change from tea in a flask) and store a few bits and pieces. The simple life!!
