Get Started With GarageBand

Apple now ship every new computer with a complete virtual recording studio as part of the iLife bundle.

Welcome to my Apple GarageBand tutorial pages.

Who would have thought that after launching the first Macintosh Computer in 1984, Apple would develop and ship with every new computer, one of the most innovative virtual recording studio software packages on the market.

After Apple aquired Emagic, a company that developed and designed industry standard software like Emagic Logic Audio Platinum, it was only a matter of time before Apple would launch itself into the world of Virtual Multi-track Recording.

Traditionally, Virtual Recording packages are relatively expensive and are so feature packed and complex, that unless you have a firm grounding in the basics of music technology they tend to be way beyond the capabilities of most aspiring musicians.

Enter Apple and GarageBand.

Known for their ability to turn the most complex of software into simple and easy use applications, Apple GarageBand offers a feature rich package that sounds amazing and is as flexible a software instrument as you will find anywhere. These step by step pages will take you through the most basic to the more advance properties of GarageBand. Enjoy!
